We’re proud to offer access to electric vehicles across most of the UK. However, there are a few important things to note if you're based in Northern Ireland.
🇬🇧 Availability in Northern Ireland
Due to post-Brexit customs regulations and changes in vehicle transport logistics, most leasing companies are currently unable to deliver electric vehicles to Northern Ireland.
At present, LeasePlan (who have recently merged with ALD) is the only leasing partner we work with that has confirmed they’re still able to support deliveries to NI. That said, there may still be additional steps or considerations involved in the delivery process.
🚢 How deliveries to NI work
Depending on the dealership and shipping provider, vehicle delivery to Northern Ireland may involve one of the following scenarios:

Delivery to a port only: In some cases, the vehicle may only be delivered as far as a port in Northern Ireland. In this instance, the employee may need to collect the car from the port themselves.

Delivery to a mainland UK office: If delivery to NI isn’t possible, and your company has an office in England, Scotland or Wales, the vehicle can be delivered there instead. The employee would then need to make arrangements to collect the car and transport it to NI, which may or may not be convenient.
Our EV Specialist team will always highlight when a customer is based in Northern Ireland to the supplying dealer, and work to confirm whether delivery to NI is possible. If not, we’ll discuss available alternatives with the employee before finalising the order.
🔌 Home charger installation in NI
Unfortunately, our current EV charger installation partner – Smart Home Charge – does not provide home charger installation services in Northern Ireland at this time.
Employees based in NI are welcome to arrange their own installation independently, or use public charging while alternative arrangements are made.
