What happens if I need to cancel my order?

A cancellation fee will apply if an employee cancels their order after signing their Employee Contract Amendment Agreement.

 

Once the employee has signed their employment amendment agreement and their vehicle has been ordered, they will incur a cancellation fee if they cancel your order (unless in exceptional circumstances). This fee is currently set at £500 + VAT, in accordance with our terms and conditions. This cancellation fee becomes chargeable if credit acceptance has been received from the finance provider and if the vehicle has been ordered with the supplier.

 

The cancellation fee is set out in the employee's vehicle order form. This can also be found in the information notice section on ECS’ website. This employment amendment will automatically terminate if an order is cancelled for any reason. 

 

Depending on the make and model of the vehicle and at what time the employee cancels the order, they may incur a fee from the dealership in addition to our fee. If the vehicle has arrived or is almost due to arrive at the dealership, the dealer may choose to charge a cancellation fee as they will then be left with a car that is no longer matched to a driver and will then need to source a new driver.
